//Reboxetine, //sold under the brand name //Edronax//, is a drug marketed as a treatment for [[content:psychology:disorders:depression]],[[content:psychology:disorders:adhd]], and Panic Disorder - amongst others

It's thought to work as a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (NRI) - with special sensitivity for the norepinephrine transporter (NET).

Like [[content:medicine:drugs:fluoxetine]], however, an exact mechanism of action has not yet been found.

>Despite widespread efforts to understand the mechanisms of action of antidepressant drugs, the requisite changes in neural function that underlie their therapeutic effects remain unclear.
